School Performance
We are really proud of all our children’s efforts in every class in every year group. It is wonderful to see the impact of their time at Belmore and all the learning they experience.
There are certain statutory assessment points across children's primary school journey to track their learning and progress. They are:
- The Reception Early Years Foundation Stage Profile, assessing where children are at the end of the years in the EYFS. We measure a 'Good Level of Development' (GLD) which means that they are what is expected for a child of their age across 5 areas of their learning: Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Literacy and Maths.
- Year 1 Phonics Screening Check (PSC)
- Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)
- Year 6 SATs in Reading, Writing, Maths and Science.
We have children in our HUB who don't take part in statutory assessments due to their complex SEND needs. These children follow a special school curriculum and we assess their progress in a way that is appropriate for them. They are not included in the data tables below but are included in the published data found at at the bottom of this page.
