We are very sad that our lovely Nursery unit isn’t bursting with happy children learning and are very much looking forward for when it is safe and our little ones return.
In the meantime, for children in Nursery we will be posting a daily phonics session for your child to watch at home, a short maths session and story time recorded by Miss Webb. This follows the usual whole class teaching they would have received every day in Nursery. We hope that your child will enjoy seeing the teachers and taking part in some learning.
We want to know how your child is getting on and support you as best we can, therefore we will be contacting you by phone regularly.
Please remember that if you need support or help you can contact your child’s Key Person using the Nursery email address firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns you may have. This is the best method of communication as our staff may be working from home.
We want you to encourage your child to complete their work and share it with their teacher. Miss Webb will upload a weekly challenge at the start of the week. We would then like you to complete the challenge with your child and take a photograph of their work by Friday (please send this to us using the Nursery email address).

The Internet is an invaluable tool for teaching and learning and is an amazing resource. However, it is very important to keep your child safe online. There are many sites online that provide a wealth of up to date information about how parents/carers can support their child with online safety. Please do visit these sites and 'Be SMART online!'
