- Read MoreYear 4 DioramasPublished 04/11/24Last half term, Year 4 learnt about the Amazon rainforest in Geography. We learnt all about the different layers of the rainforest and the plants and animals which live there. To tie together everything that we learnt, we combined our geographical knowledge and creativity to make dioramas (a 3D model) of the rainforest. Even though we all started with a simple shoe box, our dioramas turned out so unique and different! We had lots of fun letting our imaginations run wild whilst creating different plants, waterfalls and animals. 
- Read MoreYear 1 Pedestrian TrainingPublished 24/10/24On Thursday 24th October, the Year 1 children received a visit from the Pedestrian Training Team. During this visit, we dressed up as road crossing characters, including "Looking Eyes," "Listening Ears," a zebra crossing, and a lollipop lady. 
- Read MoreFirst Aid/St John's Ambulance WorkshopPublished 03/07/24With only 12 days left until the end of term - learning is still first and foremost in Belmore. We were delighted to have the amazing opportunity of welcoming Caroline from St. John's Ambulance in Hayes, who gave Year 5 and Year 6 children a workshop on first aid. We know how to deal with a casualty in a calamity, apply bandages to stop bleeding, who to call AND the correct way to use CPR. Caroline was knowledgeable, engaging and delivered potentially life-saving advice. If you attend a festival, sports event or somewhere with a large crowd, look out for the green uniforms and be thankful so many people volunteer to keep you safe! 
- Read MoreNerys Pearce Visits BelmorePublished 26/06/24On Wednesday 26th June we were very lucky and privileged to have Nerys Pearce visit our school to leading a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils, followed by a motivational assembly, and Q&A session. The aim of the event was to inspire the pupils to be more physically active, but just as importantly, encourage them to discover and pursue their passion in life. 
- Read MoreRoad Safety ChampionsPublished 25/06/24As part of our commitment to safer streets and having safer roads around our school, our travel ambassadors organised and ran a poster competition about safer parking and encouraging more pupils to walk to school this year. They ran a poster competition to get the whole school community involved. They led an assembly for both KS1 and KS2 and judged the entries having walked round the school taking photos.
