Critical Worker Registration

January 2021 - Please click here to register online

FOR PARENTS/CARERS WHO ARE CRITICAL WORKERS ONLY

As you will now be aware the Government have decided that our school will not reopen fully on Tuesday 5 January. Children are to remain at home and complete home learning as directed by your child’s class teacher. This is to ensure the suppression of the virus, especially in light of the new coronavirus variant that is so prevalent in our area.

We have been asked to provide some in-school provision for children of critical workers and those deemed as vulnerable. This is only for parents whose work is critical to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and EU transition response and includes those who work in health and social care and in other key sectors identified by the Government.

The aim is to slow down the spread of the virus so I would ask you to consider carefully whether your child's attendance is absolutely necessary as the less people that are in school, the better and safer it will be for them and for you.

In school your child will be allocated a bubble which they will remain in for the duration of this provision. They will not necessarily be in their usual class or with their usual class teacher and there will be no mixing of bubbles. Pupils learning in school will follow the same curriculum as those learning at home. This means all pupils will cover the same thing in school or at home.

If, after careful thought, you believe your child is eligible for a school place, please fill in the form below to register for a place.

Please do not send your child in to school until we have contacted you to confirm your place.
