World Mental Health Day - Hello Yellow
There was a sea of yellow in the school on Friday 13th October. Staff and children were invited to come to school dressed in yellow to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day.
Lots of activities took place during the week to encourage conversation about mental health and how important it is to be kind to one another.
In inclusion, our SEN children have been learning about zones and regulation. We have been teaching children what to do when they are not feeling good, how they can make themselves better and what support they need to make this happen.
Minded has lots of helpful advice and information for families https://mindedforfamilies.org.uk/young-people/
If you feel that your child would benefit from mental health support in school please contact Mrs Houston email@example.com
Thank you to all our parents/carers for their continuous support.
