Teacher Bio

Favourite subject at school and why:  When I was at school I loved writing because I was able to be creative and share my stories and ideas with others.

Favourite children's book you have read: I love to read so it's hard to choose! Matilda by Roald Dahl is one of my favourite chapter books. My favourite picture book would have to be 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak.

What topics are you looking forward to teaching next year?: I'm really excited to teach writing as I enjoy it myself and love to see what amazing ideas children come up with. I also love to teach art. Drawing, water colour painting and collaging are some of my favourite techniques to use in the classroom.

Any other info: My favourite foods would have to be Spaghetti Bolognese and Nachos. I'm from Canberra, the capital city of Australia but spent some of my time growing up in a small country town called Boorowa.
