This half term Year 3 have been looking at Rocks and Soils in Science. We have learned about properties of rocks such as: permeability, hard, soft and fizziness.
Over the last month, the children in Year 5 have really enjoyed learning how to play the ukulele in their music lessons. To play most songs, the most important ukulele chords to learn are C, D, G, and E.
In Reception, we have been learning all about ‘Me and my community’ and ‘Autumn’ during our project lessons. The children have discussed their family and things that are special to them.
Belmore wore yellow for World Mental Awareness Day #HelloYellow to spread awareness and show young people they are not alone in their mental illness.
Over the month of October, we have been celebrating Black History Month. The theme this year is 'Proud to be'. Each week, the children have learnt about a different British black person, who has had an impact on life today as well as learning about the importance of Black History.
Belmore children looked very colourful in traditional clothes and flag colours. The day was very uneventful and children enjoyed learning about different countries and traditions.
