Belmore had a delicious Christmas lunch with festive songs playing throughout lunchtime. Our kitchen staff dressed up in Santa outfits to add to the festive mood. Class teachers joined their class for lunch and everyone had fun pulling Christmas crackers.
Belmore children and staff swapped their uniforms and suits and dazzled the school in their festive knitwear for Christmas Jumper Day.
Key Stage 1 children have been practising their Christmas performances all week to celebrate the festive season. The children did a brilliant job in rehearsals and a phenomenal job remembering all the songs during their final recorded performance.
This half term we have enjoyed creating masterpieces for DT week! Again, our theme had a humanities focus with pieces such as Maya Temples, Viking Purses and Ancient Greek toys being created. Children learnt many new skills including knitting and clay modelling.
Belmore started the month by transforming the school into the festive season. Each class decorated their own Christmas Hoops which were displayed in the school halls for everyone to admire.
