Art Week

This term Belmore participated in a whole week of Art! The focus of the week had a literacy focus and each year group created their masterpieces inspired by a story book that teachers shared with the children.

Some of the stories included 'We're going on a bear hunt', 'The Hungry Caterpillar', 'Robin Hood' and 'The Spider and the Fly'. The whole school from nursery to Year 6 participated in a range of skills from drawing, painting, collage and 3D modelling using salt dough. Everyone enjoyed the week (regardless of how messy!) and all the children got the chance to show off their creative skills and unique imaginations!
