RE: Welcome from the New Head of School – Ms Taunt                               

Hello! I am Rose Taunt and I am very pleased to be taking over from Mr Hyatt as Head of School in January.

During my 2 day interview I was lucky enough to speak to lots of the staff across the school and I am really looking forward to working with them. I was interviewed by the school council who had thought up some brilliant questions to test me. I was also able to join some classes including doing some Yoga with Reception, lead an assembly and be out at break time to meet children.

I have been meeting with Mr Hyatt and other members of staff to make sure there is a smooth hand over and was able to join the recent Ofsted meeting.

I have worked in schools in around London for the last 20 years and I particularly love teaching Early Years and English across the school. I currently work for a trust helping their schools improve.

I have three primary age children who keep me busy when not in school and I love anything which gets me outdoors.

I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all in the new year and wish you a happy winter break.
