Garden Club

Garden Club children have been working hard on the school garden. They have tidied the Polytunnel, cleared all the flowerbeds from weeds, and planted a variety of 80 seeds into small pots.

After 2-3 weeks of watering the pots, the children selected the healthy plants that had sprouted and planted these into the flowerbeds.

Belmore’s garden is now flourishing. We have Broad Beans, Tomatoes, Courgettes, Cauliflowers, Potatoes, Onions, Garlic, Pumpkin, Squash, Sweet Pepper, Chilli, Strawberry, Figs, Plums, Pears and Apples. These will be looked after and harvested seasonally by the Garden Club children.
